Tears in my cupcakes

For the last couple of weeks, I have been saying goodbye to some good friends. My friends just happen to be fictional characters in great TV shows. I watch a variety of shows and have been watching some for years. I am not alone in the connection that I develop. It is so nice to know that there are other people out there that feel the same way I do.

Tonight was the season finale of Grey's Anatomy and it is always terrible. I mean a pile of tissues within the first few minutes terrible. Us TV devotees feel for the characters. I even read that TVs, series of movies and books can make people depressed. I believe it! I have been watching The Office since it started and cried at various times throughout the seasons, especially when Steve Carell left the show. It was just horrible.

Okay, moving on, and pushing the thought of waiting for more good shows to come on, let's talk pins. Now, I know I haven't been on in forever and I could tell you a million reasons why, but honestly it's just me. I have over a dozen old diaries and journals that got discarded from the ages of 8 to 16. I would buy a pretty one and write in it constantly for days and then stop, but I will try to keep going. I love Pinterest that much and enjoying finding new pins.

I organized my pins into a few categories because I just had so many pins that it took a long time to go through them. Now, I have some order and can find what I am looking for quicker. First up are a couple of delectable takes on a breakfast classic that my mom makes all the time. I bring you cinnamon roll pancakes and cinnamon roll sugar cookies! So yummy! The pancakes should be outlawed from how good they look. I also love the idea of a cream cheese icing on both.

Next up, let me tell you about one of my favorite things. Margaritas!!! I can't appropriately talk about them but if I could, it would be like Oprah announcing her favorite things. I love a margarita and it is really the only alcohol I like and I REALLY like them! A margarita cupcake and a watermelon margarita are two great versions of the classic. I would eat the cupcake and drink the watermelon Rita at the same time, but it might be a little too much goodness!

Two more left! One is a light and velvety tart Pink Lemonade Freezer Bar and the other is a super good Refreshing Oreo Brownie. I didn't use to like pink lemonade, but I have come to really like it and this bar just reflects spring and summer perfectly. The Oreo brownie looks decadent, but also light enough to break up the heavy and mega chocolate brownie.

So there you go faithful or random readers, six great recipes that I have pinned from a variety of sources. I will keep trying to find as many as I can to share with you all!
